- Client is seeking a project manager to support government programs - specifically, Medicare markets and Medicare mandate projects.
- This person may support a variety of projects over time depending on business needs. Previous projects for this team have related to network provider projects, risk adjustment projects, final rule compliance, etc.
- They will be focusing more on the business side, operational projects. There may be some crossover with the Enterprise Technology PM, but they aren't responsible for ET deliverables. They'll be focusing more on traditional PM skillsets - business process improvement, trainings, workflows, documentation. Most projects won't be strictly Agile or may be hybrid.
- Healthcare industry understanding will be important because the projects may cross over multiple business areas (risk adjustment, network provider, outreach to providers, etc.)
- Ideal candidate would have some exposure to Medicare projects, such as CMS mandate projects.
Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating / scheduling the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for large or multiple small projects. Activities include coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments and often performs systems analysis. Serves as a primary contact with user groups and systems management. Familiar with Waterfall & Agile delivery methods. May also indirectly supervise staff. Optional technology experience.
