RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the estimating team and ensure accurate project bids.
- Develop estimating strategies to optimize profitability.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
- Prepare detailed estimates, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
- Analyze cost data and market trends for competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Improve estimating processes with software tools.
- Mentor junior estimators.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 8-10 years in electrical estimating (commercial/industrial).
- Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Software: Proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar.
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities.
