The Electrical Project Manager will lead large-scale data center construction projects. This role requires a strong technical background in power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing electrical scopes, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all electrical aspects of data center construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
- Drive quality control, risk management, and cost control initiatives.
- Lead project meetings, provide technical support, and resolve field issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and materials availability.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in electrical construction project management, experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, generators, UPS, switchgear, and electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
