Job Description:
- Safety Program Development: Develop and implement safety programs that meet industry standards and regulations.
- Training and Certification: Conduct training sessions for employees and subcontractors on electrical safety protocols, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all personnel are properly trained and certified for electrical work.
- Auditing and Inspection: Perform regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety practices and regulations.
- Hazard Identification: Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management; experience in industrial, manufacturing, or data center construction preferred.
- Certifications: OSHA 500 certification (Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry) is preferred. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
