We're working with a top Hedge Fund with over 50 billion AUM who are looking to expand their NYC office.
They’re looking for talented software engineers with expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs). This role focuses on applying cutting-edge NLP techniques to solve challenging problems in finance and investment.
Role:
Work closely with a team of top-tier researchers and engineers.
Develop and optimize LLM-based models for high-impact use cases.
Leverage the latest advancements in AI/ML to tackle real-world financial challenges.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5).
Ability to work with libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
Proficiency in Python, particularly for machine learning and NLP tasks.
BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
Beneficial skills:
Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
Experience applying NLP/LLM techniques in finance (e.g., news sentiment analysis, earnings call analysis)
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
Total comp: 500-900k, with a base and bonus - flexibility there as well, they have gotten into the 7 figures in the past
Salary : $500,000 - $900,000
