Job Description: As a 1099 Roofing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, meeting with potential clients, and closing sales for roofing projects. This role is commission-based, giving you unlimited earning potential based on your performance. You will work independently but with the support of an experienced team to help you succeed in growing your client base and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, online marketing).
- Schedule and conduct on-site consultations with prospective customers.
- Assess customer needs and provide appropriate roofing solutions.
- Present and explain contracts, project timelines, and pricing to clients.
- Close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.
- Work independently, manage your own schedule, and use CRM tools for tracking leads and sales.
- Stay up to date with roofing products, industry trends, and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in roofing or home improvement (but not required).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- High level of integrity and a customer-first mindset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform site assessments and understand roofing systems (training available).
- Must be comfortable with a commission-based compensation structure.
