We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and personable professional to join our team as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions. As a senior member of the admissions team, the Senior Associate Director will focus on both refining existing enrollment practices and driving growth. Beyond traditional responsibilities such as recruitment and counseling, this role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in cutting-edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, K-12 programming, and emerging technologies.

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or enrollment marketing, with a proven track record at the Assistant Director level or higher.
- Proficiency in the Technolutions Slate CRM system, with a demonstrated ability to use it for data tracking, engagement, and recruitment efforts.
- Strong written communication skills, with experience developing and executing enrollment-focused communications (e.g., email, text, social media) to engage prospective students effectively.
- Experience working within K-12 programming, with an understanding of how to engage and support students at various stages of the educational journey.
- Demonstrated interest in providing presentations and training others, with the ability to effectively share knowledge and support the growth of colleagues.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to providing a positive, professional experience for prospective students and their families.
- A passion for working in an entrepreneurial environment that emphasizes excellence and drives student success and economic growth.
- Willingness to travel for recruitment events within the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse regions, and beyond, ensuring robust outreach to prospective students across a broad geographic area.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Admissions:
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with high schools, community organizations, and college access programs, focusing on the Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse regions, while expanding outreach beyond.
- Lead and coordinate recruitment efforts, including campus tours, high school visits, recruitment events, and leveraging Slate to track, manage, and engage prospective students throughout the admissions process.
- Represent the Institute at regional and national college fairs, delivering dynamic presentations and sharing insights on academic offerings, admissions
- Collaborate with academic departments and other campus offices to ensure alignment in recruitment messaging and support recruitment goals
Enrollment Strategy & Analytics:
- Analyze industry trends and data, offering actionable insights to refine enrollment strategies and foster growth in alignment with institutional goals.
- Use a blend of qualitative and quantitative data from Technolutions Slate CRM to evaluate and enhance recruitment initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of prospective students.
- Work closely with colleagues to create and utilize data-driven solutions that enhance the entire student journey, from initial engagement through to enrollment.
- Employ emerging technologies and tools, including artificial intelligence and data analytics, to support data-driven decision-making in enrollment management and student outreach.
Innovation and Professional Development:
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth by staying informed on best practices in enrollment management, emerging technologies, and innovations in the higher education landscape.
- Explore new ways to incorporate cutting-edge tools and technologies, such as AI, into the admissions process to enhance efficiency, engagement, and overall student experience.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, providing leadership and fostering a team-oriented atmosphere within the admissions department.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events.
- Some travel is required for recruitment events.
