Service Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their automotive service needs are met with professionalism and expertise. You will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between customers and our service department, providing exceptional service while helping to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Provide detailed estimates for services required, including auto estimating for repairs such as brake repair and shocks struts.
• Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs needed.
• Prepare and transmit service orders to the shop floor, ensuring clarity in service writing.
• Follow up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional services that may be necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, promoting a positive dealership environment.
• Stay updated on automotive diagnostics and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in auto service management or as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Proficient in using service management software for tracking repairs and customer interactions.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• ASE certification or equivalent training in automotive technology is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $47,562.00 - $51,515.00 per year
