Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus, enhancing your ability to provide high-quality service in an upscale setting.
