What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at Gondola Restaurant?
EVERY SUNDAY AND MONDAY OFF !!
MUST be available to work Fridays and Saturdays, as those are our busiest days.
```Duties```
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food
- Prepare beverages, such as coffee, tea, and cocktails
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent guest service and address any concerns or complaints
```Experience```
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

We serve alcohol at the restaurant, so by law our servers have to be 18 years of age.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
