About the Job :

The Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing will plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies and brand vision, setting the standards for marketing promotions, special events, and public relations activities for our stores and online. This person will engage our top brands and develop and foster partnerships with celebrities and collaborators to deliver a best in class experience for our customers.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing :

  • Oversee the Brand Marketing, Social Media, and PR & Events teams.
  • Handle and drive activations for third parties partnerships with celebrities, artists, musicians, athletes, and brand ambassadors.
  • Maintain and cultivate new relationships with current and emerging key brand partners.
  • Lead the charge for content produced by partner brands including photography, video, copy and links for social media channels, e-commerce, and blogs.
  • Lead the creation and execution of brand appropriate promotions (GWP’s, contests, sweepstakes, etc.).
  • Devise and execute launch strategy for all new partner brands, product categories, and key activations.
  • Lead all in-store appearances and brand collaboration events.
  • Align and collaborate with other PacSun marketing counterparts & outside agencies.
  • Lead and direct all cross-functional communication & partnerships – liaison between marketing and key partners across organization.

What it takes to Join :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of Retail industry marketing experience, in a mid-Sr. level Leadership role.
  • 5 years of overall brand marketing experience including events, social media and public relations.
  • Digital marketing experience / knowledge is preferred.
  • Proven record of success with partnering with celebrities and relevant brands.
  • Working knowledge of various marketing techniques and processes.
  • Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management, time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work and influence a variety of groups, internal and external.

  • Salary Range : $116,917 - $130,753

    Physical Requirements :

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

    Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

    This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and / or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
