Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
- Manage the waitlist and ensure timely seating for guests.
- Take and process customer orders using the POS system efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain the cash register.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls and taking reservations when necessary.
- Support team members in delivering high-quality food service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
