Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems such as Aloha POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Keep inventory stocked by monitoring supplies and placing orders as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
