Position Overview:
Be creative, have fun, and satisfy customers while optimizing restaurant sales and cash flow by implementing store plans and ensuring adherence to quality, cleanliness, and customer service standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests in a friendly manner and taking orders accurately and repeating all orders to the guest
- Crafting and preparing certain food and beverage items to spec and customer satisfaction
- This position requires knowledge of the menu items, their preparation, and their ingredients
- Responsible for delivering orders to the guest and is responsible for accurate cash control
- Responsible for Cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, dining room, rest rooms or public facing areas
- All orders must be verified for correctness and completion in a timely manner
-The team member must follow all checklists and keep the store stocked and ready for the next shift
Job Specifications:
-People with a desire to satisfy guests. Prior experience in a guest service type role or position a plus
-18 years of age or older
-Must be fluent in English (bilingual language, Korean and/or Mandarin preferred)
-Ability to be self-reliant while executing assigned duties from management staff
-Able to speak, read, and write effectively. Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with management, corporate staff, restaurant employees, and customers
-Must adhere to Gong cha uniform and grooming policies and standards
-Able to stand and walk for 95 to 100% of shift
-Able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds
-Able to work flexible hours
-Ability to travel to assigned location and execute in your position
