Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering events or special functions as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and order processing; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safe preparation of beverages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in nightclub settings or catering events is an advantage but not mandatory.
