Full-Time Faculty Position Opening - Spanish
Gonzaga College High School is seeking an experienced, full-time high school Spanish teacher for the 2025-26 school year.
Candidates will possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Spanish; a master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidates will have at least three years of successful teaching experience at the high school or college level and be able to support the school's mission of building young men who are religious, loving, academically competent, open to growth, and committed to doing justice. Special consideration will be given to candidates with ability and/or experience teaching French 1 and 2 as well.
Ideal candidates will also have native (or near-native) proficiency in spoken and written Spanish, express interest in CI (Comprehensible Input) teaching strategies, possess knowledge of a wide array of evidence-based evaluation strategies based on the standards outlined in the ACTFL framework (knowledge of language acquisition research is preferred), be a creative and engaging educator who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and helping students build their language proficiency, believe all students can learn languages on a deep level in an immersive environment and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
