What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Line Worker position at Gonzalez Contract Services?
Job Requirements:
- Willing to work all scheduled hours including Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to stand most of the day
- Must be able to read and follow specific verbal and/or written work instructions
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be dependable, at work on time, every day
- Possess a reliable form of transportation
- May have contact with diesel fuel/oil
- Some assembly experience helpful
Shifts - Candidates must be flexible. Shifts are scheduled for 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on business.
1st Shift 2:00am/4:00am/6:00am start – 2:30pm end
2nd Shift 2:30 pm start - 11:00pm/12:00am/1:00am end
Additional info:
- High school diploma or GED required - Candidates must provide proof in background check process.
- Candidates will be subject to drug screen, as well as criminal, education, and employment background checks.
- Time and a half paid after 40 hours have been worked - Double time paid on Sundays or Holidays after 40 hours have been worked
