What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Gonzalez Contract Services?
1st Shift Long Term Contract Position Monday-Friday Overtime Available!
Forklift operator.
- Will start off doing general labor – moving tires, organizing, helping pull orders.
- Will be lifting small tires (30-35lbs) stacking on pallets
- Will be certified on forklift before operating regardless of prior certification
- Will then be unloading and loading trucks and storage containers
- Inventorying/counting tires
- Putting tires in designated areas
- Pulling tires for orders
- MUST be willing to sweep, clean up trash, etc. during down time
The majority of these tires go to airplanes, about 4 to 5 feet tall and will need to be moved with a forklift
Hours: 7a – 3:30p
Days: Monday – Friday
*Insurance available after 90 days, sick time, vacation time, and rate increases once you go direct
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
