What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Gonzalez Contract Services?
- Troubleshoot, repair mechanical problems on all equipment
- Fabricate fixtures, stands, racks, tables, etc. MIG/TIG
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (able to correctly follow any scheduled preventative maintenance work order)
- Support outsourced Preventative Maintenance Program
- Repair of equipment as necessary
- Ensure compliance with MIOSHA regulations
- Lockout/tag out machinery when necessary
- Report accidents and damaged equipment immediately to a supervisor
- Follow IATF & ISO-14001 procedures
- Assist with training of Apprentices
- Look for continuous improvement ideas through AIT/REAP
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support Six Sigma initiatives
