L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Database Administrator.
Performing database and platform administration tasks for Center for Health Data Innovation (CHDI) systems and tools, including cloud analytics environment and data quality and matching tools.
Specific duties to include :
- Research and provide input on technical designs for database architecture in environments.
- Implement design to meet highly complex business needs and technical design document, and support design, creation and testing.
- Establish processes for and manage database access and permissions.
- Review and manage database security, integrity, and backups.
- Monitor database performance, including incident and problem management.
- Monitor database usage and provide reports to technical manager and team to inform design changes.
- Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code and technical documentation.
- Assist end users with database activities such as table creation and indexing related to data loading, view creation, and other database functions.
- Troubleshoot complex end user technical issues, identify problems and leading solutions.
