L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Systems Developer.
The Systems Developer will design, develop and implement solutions for multiple applications and projects for our client. Daily tasks include :
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF.
Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
Use a source code repository, such as GIT-SCM, Tortoise GIT or Sourcetree, or TFS for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
Coordinate service requests with various ITS Chief Operating Office personnel for releases and changes for the application.
Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.
Job Requirements
Details :
7 years of experience as lead developer on projects performing and implementing systems design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance and security procedures.
7 years of experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio to design & develop complex n- tier web applications using ASP.NET / MVC / Razor and / or C# and modern programming principles; Object-oriented, scalable, maintainable, single-responsibility and highest application security standards.
7 years of experience creating and reading formal Technical documentation based on system requirements and interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.
7 years of experience with Oracle 11G or higher and writing SQL and PL / SQL queries, updates, stored procedures, functions and cursors, and Oracle SQL query optimization.
7 years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SOAP / Restful APIs, message and queue processing, and / or an Enterprise Service Bus.
3 years of experience developing web applications that conform to requirements contained in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).
3 years of experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
4 years of experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
3 years of experience designing & implementing applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI). Full understanding of HIPPA compliance.
