L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Tester. The tester will work closely with the Project Manager, Program Manager and the Agency lead and may be assigned to multiple projects.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for manual as well as automated testing to address business use cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Validate the data mapping of the fields between the legacy and the PORTS & Grants systems
- Document, report, track, assign, and escalate defects appropriately; perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Pilot Testing
- Provide guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles
- Manage testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, performance, and scalability testing
- Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities
- Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Conduct Responsive and Web accessibility testing
- Conduct Cross-browser testing to test systems across multiple browsers and settings
- Work with end users to ensure acceptance testing is thorough and complete
