We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team at G&H Rochester. This role is key to ensuring that optical components and systems are assembled with precision, meet high-quality standards, and continuously improve our processes. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you'll work with cutting-edge optical technologies while maintaining a collaborative and high-performance work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optical and Electro-mechanical Assembly : Assemble components and systems according to work instructions and training, ensuring precise handling and placement to achieve required tolerances.
- Quality Inspection and Documentation : Inspect parts and assemblies for cosmetic and functional quality. Record assembly processes for traceability and improvement. Notify the Quality Department or Manufacturing management of any part or machinery changes.
- Continuous Improvement : Works closely with Lead Assembler by proactively suggest changes in working conditions, layout, or equipment use to enhance efficiency. Provide feedback on assembly processes work instructions.
- General Duties : As part of the G&H Rochester team, you will participate in daily operational tasks, including preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining workspaces, handling recyclables, and other tasks typically found in a small company.
