SUD TREATMENT AND SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Goochland Powhatan Community Services is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We are seeking a SUD Treatment and Support Professional to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of effective treatment plans.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, family members, and healthcare providers to assess needs, develop strategies, and monitor progress. Your duties will include conducting psychosocial assessments, creating individualized service plans, facilitating group therapy sessions, and collaborating with community partners to ensure seamless coordination of care.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of addiction recovery principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required. CSAC certification is preferred, and familiarity with MAT for opioid dependence is an asset.
