Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience shepherding live-action video projects from initial development through final delivery. This role requires a mix of production management, line-producing, creative development, and client-facing skills. The candidate will be both highly organized and adept at maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders.
You will be responsible for managing various projects, and ensuring that creative visions are executed smoothly, all while finding solutions to production challenges in a fast-paced environment. Strong scheduling, budgeting, and communication skills are a must, and the role could involve international travel for up to 50% of the year.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire production process from development to final delivery, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional and affable relationships while addressing their evolving needs.
- Line Producing: Build and manage production budgets, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are handled efficiently.
- Scheduling: Plan and coordinate shoot schedules, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Creative Collaboration: Work directly with directors to ensure that their creative visions are being properly actualized throughout the production process.
- Problem Solving: Identify and solve production challenges quickly, adjusting to changing client and creative needs in a high-intensity environment.
- International Travel: Must be willing and able to travel internationally for up to 50% of the year to oversee productions.
Qualifications:
- Production Expertise: In-depth knowledge of all aspects of production, from pre-production through final delivery.
- Client-Facing Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Line-Producing Experience: Proficient in building and managing budgets, schedules, and resources for production.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to find solutions to production challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Creative Vision Alignment: Experience working closely with directors to ensure their creative visions are fully realized on set and in post-production.
