Position: Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: At Good Carbon Co, we provide our tenants with a first-class experience by delivering quality customer service and maintaining the property to the highest standards. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail, capable of conducting a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and effectively.

This position requires a passion for hands-on work, problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to ensuring the utmost level of property maintenance standards. We LOVE bright, friendly and motivated individuals!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repairs:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and address tenant-reported issues promptly.
• Property Inspections:
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Emergency Response:
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and ensure tenant safety.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to prolong property system lifespan.
• Tenant Communication:
• Keep tenants informed about maintenance activities and updates.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance requests and repairs.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promptly address hazards.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and order maintenance supplies to meet task requirements.
• Property Upkeep:
• Maintain property exteriors and uphold cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
• Knowledge of tools required for the job at hand.
• Knowledge of landscaping tools.
• Knowledge of power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed (sometimes) during inclement weather conditions (sometimes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, management, and guests.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
