What are the responsibilities and job description for the Label Tech position at Good Day Farm?
Label Technician will create Compliance and Strain Labels for a variety of media. The Label Technician job duties include defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. Shapes the visual aspects product packaging, exhibitions and more. Develops compliant Labels standards set by our compliance department to capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.
- Create label designs for all products and packaging
- Prep, Proof and edit all packaging artwork files
- Maintain and build a packaging file library of all artwork files
- Copywrite and proof-read all artwork files for 100% accuracy
- Create proprietary patterns and designs to be used in the design
- Responsible for creating graphic assets to be used on packaging, apparel, website assets, social media.
- Take an idea from brainstorming to final production in print and digital
- Successfully executes a large volume of revisions to an asset with minimal oversight
- Prioritize projects and workload for all team members, to meet critical deadlines
- Work on multiple assets from packaging to marketing collateral
- Steward the visual identity, typography, palette, photography, and principal design systems of the brand; evolving where necessary
- Ensure all designs are compliant and will pass state approvals
- Render experience preferred but not required
- Understands and speaks print language, colors, and finishes
- 1 years of product photography masking and touch-up experience
- Proven graphic designing experience
