Pet Bather
Good Dog Grooming Studio is hiring for a full-time position in North Chesterfield, VA. This position is responsible for bathing and grooming pets, assisting in the delivery of pets to clients, and general cleaning of the facility.
A qualified candidate will be kind both to animals and customers, and will be able to do self-directed work and get what needs to be done completed without prompting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- reliable transportation
- Must absolutely love dogs and have patience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with an extreme attention to detail
- Previous experience a plus
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have good customer service skills
- Be available for work Tuesday through Saturday from 8am until about 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Clean and groom pets
- Wash, dry, and vacuum pet dishes, linens, and bedding
- Sanitize pet facilities at all times
- Dispose of trash in accordance with pet waste regulations
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized at all times
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area according to company standards at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
