About the Role:
Good Foods Co-op is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Good Foods Co-op. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our customers' expectations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our reputation as a top-quality food provider in the Retail Trade industry.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work a flexible schedule and have availability in the evening and weekends.
Successful candidates must demonstrate a high degree of efficiency and reliability, strong customer service skills, the ability to work as an effective team member, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Excellent food preparation and cooking skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and move objects
- Must be able to tolerate repeated lifting, bending, twisting, and occasional climbing.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to read and speak English
