Crew Leader/Driver

Job Description:

Good Guys Moving is seeking a Crew Leader & Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a moving crew, driving our trucks, and ensuring safe and efficient handling of furniture and goods during the moving process. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for helping people, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate moving trucks to transport furniture and goods.
• Lead and manage a crew of movers, ensuring smooth operations.
• Load and unload furniture and household items with care.
• Ensure proper wrapping, packing, and protection of customer belongings.
• Communicate professionally with clients to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
• Adhere to the company's policies, including those related to damages and customer claims.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Prior experience in moving or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
