We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible and experienced crew leader to join our team! The Crew Leader is responsible for supervising and leading a team of tree service professionals in the safe and efficient execution of tree removal, pruning, and maintenance tasks. This role involves coordinating daily operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and motivate a team of climbers, and ground crew members.
- Assign tasks and ensure they are completed according to company standards.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.

Operational Management:
- Plan and organize daily work schedules and assignments.
- Ensure that all work is completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Manage and oversee the setup and takedown of job sites.

Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety briefings and inspections before starting work.
- Address and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.

Customer Service:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
- Address any client concerns or questions professionally and promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality work and courteous interactions.

Equipment and Material Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available and in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.

Quality Control:
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
- Address any issues or deficiencies in work quality and make necessary corrections.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
- Complete and submit reports as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in tree service, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proficient in the use of tree service equipment and tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, and working at heights.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and tree care practices.
- Bilingual: It is a plus but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
- May require irregular hours, including weekends or evenings, depending on project demands.
- Potential exposure to hazardous conditions and use of heavy machinery.
