Cafe/Deli Clerks

Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County's largest independently owned natural and organic grocer, is currently seeking to hire part time Cafe/Deli Clerks to work in our onsite restaurant and deli, Hop Harvest & Vine. The hours of operation for this part of our business are 9a-2p Sunday, 8a-2p on Monday and Tuesday (so no evening service) and 8a-9p Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Candidates must have evening and weekend availability and be at least 18 years old.

Our Cafe/Deli clerks learn to work all front of house operations for our onsite restaurant and deli, Hop Harvest & Vine. Cross training will occur, with duties of this role including but not limited to: cashiering, light bartending, juice and smoothie bar operations, barista and deli counter work.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old (alcohol service & deli slicers)
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to clearly communicate with our customers
• A passion for natural living
• Flexible retail availability
• Ability to accurately handle cash
• Ability to follow recipes to prepare juices and smoothies to order with consistency
• Must be comfortable using deli slicers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Ability to sweep, mop, and clean the floors
• Constant standing, frequent bending, stooping, lifting, walking
• Must be able to handle working in varying temperature conditions (walk in coolers, freezers, outdoors as needed).
