Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and learning styles.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the child's development.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate findings to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
Requirements
- NC Early Childcare Credentials
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that supports diverse learners.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
