The Opportunity

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Jr. Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployments and high availability. You’ll play a key role in maintaining system reliability, automating processes, and collaborating with a dynamic team to help further our mission.

This role reports to the Senior Infrastructure Engineer and offers a hybrid schedule with three days a week onsite at our Midtown Manhattan office.

What You’ll Own

• Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.
• Supporting other engineers and product managers with infrastructure-related tasks.
• Collaborating with backend engineers to optimize GitHub workflows and infrastructure deployments.
• Writing and maintaining clear documentation on processes and systems.
• Work on monitoring and observability of infrastructure to ensure stability and performance.

Your Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of experience working with cloud computing on AWS (EC2, ECS, DynamoDB) or strong academic/internship experience in this area.
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Grafana, Terraform).
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Bash).
• Understanding of Linux and shell troubleshooting
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tackle challenges in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
