Job Title : Handyman
Job Summary : We are seeking a versatile and skilled individual to fill the role of Handyman and Landscaper. This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks for both indoor and outdoor spaces, including repair work, installation, groundskeeping, and landscaping. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a wide range of duties, from routine repairs to garden and lawn care, ensuring that properties are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor HVAC work.
Repair or replace doors, windows, fixtures, and appliances as needed.Conduct inspections to identify issues such as leaks, structural damage, or wear and tear.Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and plumbing issues.Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, or equipment.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Landscaping Duties :Mow, trim, and edge lawns, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance.
Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape features.Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems.Prune trees and bushes to promote healthy growth and maintain the aesthetic of the property.Lay sod, mulch, and gravel as necessary to improve landscaping.Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor spaces.Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn care products.General Maintenance :Perform seasonal maintenance such as snow removal, leaf collection, and cleaning gutters.
Ensure all outdoor equipment and structures, such as fences, patios, and decks, are in good condition.Maintain and clean outdoor walkways, driveways, and patios.Qualifications :
Proven experience as a handyman, landscaper, or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.Knowledge of landscaping techniques, including lawn care, planting, and irrigation.Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.Valid driver’s license.Work Environment : This position requires both indoor and outdoor work. Candidates should be prepared to work in various weather conditions and lift or move heavy materials.
