Job Description :
Our Company is seeking a Landscape Construction Project Manager for our bustling Maltby, WA location. This role involves overseeing field construction for multiple commercial and residential projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Key tasks include designing and building multi-zone irrigation systems, supervising the installation of hardscape features, retaining walls, landscape lighting, and plantings.
The Project Manager collaborates with clients, vendors, and management to update construction schedules, order materials, track labor and time, expedite change orders, and coordinate subcontracted work. Maintaining positive relationships with customers, coworkers, vendors, and the community is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and layout multi-zone irrigation systems based on meter size, pressure, and flow (GPM) using budgets and landscape plans.
- Supervise installation of hardscapes, retaining walls, landscape lighting, and plantings.
- Hire, train, and lead construction crews (3–6 members) while managing performance aligned with PLM’s values : Respect, Integrity, Team, Customer Centric, Expertise, Agility, and Grit.
- Schedule and procure labor, subcontractors, and materials for project completion, update requirements throughout project timelines.
- Read and interpret project contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety details.
- Manage project sites for safety, security, and efficient equipment / material staging.
- Collaborate with the Department Manager to prioritize tasks based on changing customer demands.
- Utilize the Aspire workflow management system for payroll, job costing, and project budgeting.
- Analyze job costs versus budgets and collaborate with finance and operations for corrective actions.
