Job Summary
As a Caregiver at Goodlife Senior Living, you will play a vital role in caring for our residents with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medication to residents
- Assist residents with mobility and ambulation within the facility
- Support residents with personal care tasks and hygiene needs
- Engage residents in various activities to promote well-being
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment
- Report any incidents or changes in residents' conditions promptly
- Demonstrate swift and responsible actions during emergency situations
Experience
- Proven experience in caregiving or a related field
- Proficiency in emergency response procedures and first aid, including CPR certification
- Familiarity with housekeeping tasks and standards
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Compassionate and respectful demeanor towards residents
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport effectively
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
- Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
