Job Summary
The Culinary Lead is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations within our establishment, ensuring that all food preparation and service meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. The Culinary Lead will play a crucial role in menu planning, inventory control, and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Plan and develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during banquets and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by engaging with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Experience in banquet service and bartending is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
