POSITION TITLE: Facilities Coordinator
DATE: February 2025
SUPERVISOR: Executive Pastor
TEAM: Operations
TIME COMMITMENT: Full Time, 40 hours per week
REQUIREMENT: Level 2 Background Check Clearance
Create a positive first impression by welcoming guests when they walk on campus and ensuring the facilities operate effectively and efficiently.
Leadership Roles:
1. Handle daily facility needs, address repair projects, and manage set-ups and break-downs on campus.
2. Evaluate repair needs, gather estimates, and supervise the contractors until the work is finished.
3. Responsible for the Serve SoWal Property needs next door. Working with our tenants to ensure the property is well maintained and emergency needs are addressed quickly.
4. Oversee on-campus and off-campus storage space by developing systems and processes that enhance our efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-Day
· Prepare weekly set-ups and break-down requests on campus. This includes the sanctuary, Bridge Room, Kids space, Front Porch, and classrooms.
· Confirm by Friday that the church facilities and grounds are well maintained and ready for Sunday services. Confirming cleaning, mowing, and other projects are complete before Sunday.
· Identify potential issues related to age and wear of the facilities, creating a list of repairs and replacements needed.
· Perform maintenance/repairs for the church building, equipment, and property.
· Manage $60,000 repair budget
· Work with appropriate agencies to ensure that buildings meet current code requirements.
2. Assess Repair Need & Contract Work
· Ensure the building meets all safety protocols and is up to date.
· Oversee bids and contracts when the needs arise.
· Consistently update the Executive Pastor and Chair of Trustees on the progress of projects.
3. Serve SoWal Property
· Manage repair needs with tenants leasing space next door
· Serve as the first point of contact when issues arise.
· Manage short & long term repair needs.
4. Work with the Executive Assistant to Develop Systems and Processes for Storage Space On-Campus and Off-Campus
· Determine where our physical resources go.
· Create systems for checking out & returning resources.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
