**Job Title: Business Development Representative**

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Business Development Representative to grow our business by nurturing and expanding relationships with our referral partners.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, creating connections, and generating opportunities. You will be out in the field, meeting with local businesses, real estate agents, insurance agents, and other partners to ensure Good News Roofing remains top-of-mind for roofing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners in the community.
  • Regularly visit realtors, insurance agents, property managers, and other key connections to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and establish new referral opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Plan and represent Good News Roofing at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.
  • Educate partners on our services, process, and company values.
  • Conduct outreach through in-person visits, calls, emails, LinkedIn, and social media.
  • Proactively research and prospect new business opportunities.
  • Assist with social media marketing and referral program marketing.
  • Get creative—develop and test new ways to generate leads, strengthen partnerships, and increase brand awareness.
  • Track outreach efforts and results to measure effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • A self-motivated and outgoing individual with a passion for building relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or business development (roofing or construction knowledge is a plus, but not required).
  • A strong local network or willingness to immerse yourself in the community.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
