General Purpose
The Charge Nurse is responsible for the daily supervision of CNAs to ensure the delivery of patient care as ordered by the Physician.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current license as an RN and/or LPN in the state of TN.
- Must possess leadership and ability to cooperate with other staff or personnel.
- Must be competent in organizing, planning and directing nursing care.
- Must have patience, tact, professional disposition and be able to handle patients based on whatever functioning level they may have.
- Must handleemergencies, perform emergency care and give emergency instructions as necessary.
- Must communicate with the public, visitors and patients tactfully.
