Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Med / Surg Telemetry in Emergency Department

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : 36

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Valid New York State License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

Experience in a fast-paced emergency department
Comfort with nurse-to-patient ratios up to 1 : 6-8
Scrubs in either all white, all navy, or a combination of both colors
Comfortable with a busy ED / Admissions Unit

Job Description :

Work in a 437-bed teaching hospital's Emergency Department

Serve as a member of the Med / Surg Telemetry team

Provide high-quality care to patients as part of a large healthcare network

Ensure patient safety and maintain required certifications

Complete necessary orientation and compliance requirements promptly

Work alongside experienced staff and gain additional skills in a supportive environment

Participate in non-billable modules during the 16 hours of non-billable orientation

Respond effectively to new situations and challenges in a teaching hospital setting

Adhere to uniform guidelines and maintain professional appearance

Notes :

First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome

Prior travel experience is preferred but not required

Orientation occurs once a month; timely start on compliance is essential

Modules are completed during orientation and annually
