Essential Job Duties:
- Obtain blood and other specimens from patients and process them correctly
- Correctly process specimens received through the tube system or brought from outside sources.
- Assist in clerical duties.
- Disinfect all counters each shift.
- Clean morgue when needed, and maintain supplies.
- Perform courier duties when needed.
- Must be able to engage both fellow employees and customers with compassion and respect.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:
- Review and sign all educational material that is made available.
- Keep phlebotomy trays clean and maintained with supplies so they are always ready for use.
- Keep break room, clean and organized.
- Education: High School graduate or GED. Science courses helpful
- Experience: Previous phlebotomy experience, or on-the-job training.
