Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, they are responsible for the operation of highly technical state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. They are responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.
Work Hours:
- Part-time, 60 hours bi-weekly
- Day shift
- Weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
Job Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Allied Health
- Successfully passed the Hemodynamic test
- EKG competency preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CVT/CVIT or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
- BLS/CPR
- Unrestricted license from ODH and ARRT
- Understanding of aseptic technique
- 1 year of clinical experience. 2 years of experience in Cath Lab and/or Specials preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proficiently perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
- Provide ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
- Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
- Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
- Demonstrate organizational responsibility.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families.
