What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech Emergency Department Full Time Days position at Good Samaritan Medical Center?
Up to $1,500 Sign On Bonus available based on experience
The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Nursing Assistant Course Work
EXPERIENCE
- Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS
- Nursing Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support
