Position Summary
Coordinates equipment service. Dispatches technicians based on user needs, technician qualifications and availability. Call vendor for service and coordinates associated paperwork. Maintains and updates the equipment history database. Coordinates the departmental purchasing process including receiving of parts. Researches overcharges and discrepancies; questions vendor billing when appropriate; negotiates differences with vendors. Resolves invoice problems with Purchasing and/or Accounting. Completes work orders for field service reports. Documents expenses against equipment records. Provides support for all members of the Plant Operations Department.
