Physical Therapist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society.
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions with clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
- Administer physical therapy interventions following established safeguards.
- Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation and treatment plans.
- Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
- Demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required within the first 60 days of employment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
