About the Position
- Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease.
- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Document client information for evaluation.
- Educate clients and family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home.
- Knowledge of age-related treatments and evaluations relating to client needs.
- Demonstrate current research knowledge in daily treatment of clients.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required within the first 60 days of employment.
