The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to seniors in our long-term care facilities.
About the Role
This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week with various shifts available. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and support their overall well-being under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance
- Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and other personal care needs
- Take vital signs, record resident interactions, and document care related concerns/responses
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns to the charge nurse
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and has:
- A High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
