About the Position:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a member of our care staff, you will provide high-quality resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
