This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is an excellent opportunity to work in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from home. As a Travel CNA, you will provide essential care and services to residents, promoting their overall health and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include assisting with basic health care needs, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents. You will also be responsible for completing tasks related to food preparation and dining, assisting with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed, and documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Essential Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED); minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred; required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
